We hosted our most recent fly-in on April 10-12 in Washington, D.C.
Individuals involved in research, design, compliance, logistics, etc. met with members of Congress to tell their story about their role in the global value chain. This was an opportunity to educate members of Congress and the Administration about the importance of U.S. jobs created by global value chains.
We officially launched the U.S. Global Value Chain Coalition (USGVC) on Friday, October 20.
During the forum, Susan Hester, Ph.D., of Moongate Associates presentde the findings of a new global value chain study on apparel products. We also held a panel discussion featuring representatives from American companies to talk about how their supply chain creates jobs in the United States.
